Merstone School and Forest Oak School
This owlet design reflects the schools’ creativity and inclusive approach of working together and sharing ideas. All classes designed an owlet as part of a competition and our final vote coincided with the General Election. Both schools ran The Big Hoot Art Clubs and experimented with different background techniques. All owlet designs from both schools were reduced and collaged onto the final owlet to represent its feathers, meeting the school’s vision of a totally inclusive piece of art. The two winning designs were painted on the front, and the owlet’s name was voted for by the pupils.
