St Andrew’s Healthcare
This owlet was created to increase understanding and reduce stigma around mental illness. Patients and staff from St. Andrew’s Healthcare in Birmingham designed Hope to highlight the fact that recovering from mental illness is a personal and difficult journey of hope and discovery. All aspects of the design were chosen to help people understand mental wellbeing using key words to represent the ways in which patients can be helped with their recovery. Bright colours were chosen to symbolise a positive future and to empower individuals to fulfil their hopes and dreams whilst living with mental illness.
