Yardley Wood Community Primary School
Year 3 children took inspiration from Andy Warhol’s artwork and designed an owlet influenced by his use of repeated, blocked colour. Woody incorporates the theme of nature and the owl’s natural habitat, whilst representing the school’s logo. Following a visit from real life owls, the children chose to recreate the texture of feathers using mixed textile, including finger-knitted and sewn feathers.
