Beorma (7th century Anglo-Saxon name for the settlement now known as Birmingham) celebrates the city’s varied, vibrant cultures – highlighted on one wing with feather effect flags of the world, filling the shape of the West Midlands map. The eight linked arms and scroll represent education and the schools supported by the charity, The Schools of King Edward VI in Birmingham.
