About Kerry Caffyn
Kerry is a busy mum of two and lives in Hailsham, East Sussex. She trained in Fashion and Manufacture and her past projects and roles are many and varied – including wetsuit design, animation, backdrop painting, prop-making, set-building, costume maker and even designing several wallpaper ranges, more recently soft furnishings. She has also worked on private commissions as a portrait artist.
Her work over the years has afforded her the luxury of extensive travel to far-flung places, some of which is reflected in her artworks. All artists are heavily influenced by playing with colour and light and she is no exception but says that sometimes just picking one fantastically vivid and rich hue can be a message in itself.
