About Mark Oliver
Mark is an award-winning illustrator and highly innovative artist, with a strong pedigree of museum and art gallery exhibitions. Mark has written and illustrated various books with major publishers and has twice won the Stockport Children’s Prize. He was longlisted for the Greenaway Medal in 2011, won the Gold Award in the Transport for London Poster Awards in 2007, and was Runner-up in the Avensis Prize in 2003. In 2021 Mark was a finalist in the Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year.
Mark has also created a collection of ‘Litter Bugs’ which are exhibited in galleries and museums in an attempt to highlight the effects of human behaviour on the insect population.
