St Elizabeth Hospice

St Elizabeth Hospice

Support when it is needed most

We support patients and their families via our Inpatient Unit, providing day services on site including outpatient’s clinics, home visits from our community nursing, medical or therapy team, our OneCall 24/7 telephone helpline and bereavement support.

Zest supports young adults aged 14 and upwards with progressive and/or life-limiting illnesses/conditions to ensure that they get the specialist palliative care, tailored treatment and services they need to be able to enjoy life to the full.

Could fund five bereavement packs which are shared with families to help them find ways to manage their grief. You do not need to have had previous contact with the hospice to access our bereavement services.

Could fund a Care Co-ordinator receiving a call on the OneCall 24/7 specialist advice line. This could be the first point of contact for a patient or their family seeking support, sometimes at a time of crisis.

£74 could fund a visit by a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS).  70% of our clinical care is provided in patient’s place of residence whether that’s their home or care home. Our Community Nurses provide specialist care.

Steps of a Nurse

Put yourself in the shoes of a nurse and walk a month’s worth of a nurse’s steps to raise money for St Elizabeth Hospice.

Our nurses walk over 15,285 steps a day! Your challenge is to complete a month’s worth of their steps from 1 May – 30 June 2021.

Light up their life by dedicating a candle that will be lit along with 5000 others on Suffolk Day 21 June 2021.

Midnight Walk 2021

Help us to make this the biggest and brightest night of the year and dress to shine!

The night is not only a time to party and support your local hospice, but is also a chance to remember someone special and leave a dedication to them.
