Frequently Asked Questions

Below you will find a range of frequently asked questions (FAQ) to help you get the most out of the Big Hoot Ipswich 2022.

What is St Elizabeth Hospice?

St Elizabeth Hospice

The hospice improves life for people living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses. Our work is centred around an individual’s needs. We provide specialist support wherever it is needed, in the home, in the community or at our hospice.

St Elizabeth Hospice is an independent charity providing free services. Every year, our services cost £12.9 million to run, 70% coming from the local community. We rely on fundraising, donations and volunteers to keep going.

Your support through our Big Hoot Wild in Art Trail will help us to provide local hospice care to those who need it.

Why is there a cost for the Big Hoot App?

In order for us to provide the app there is a cost to the charity for the set up and use, this is why there is a charge.
We also hope that the cost is recouped and gives added value to the user through the many rewards and discounts offered by some of the sponsors.

How much of the App cost goes to St Elizabeth Hospice?

Of the £1.79 app cost, £1.04 goes directly to St Elizabeth Hospice to support the vital services they provide.
