FAQs about the online Auction

Can I also buy a plinth for my owl?

Plinths are available at a cost of £250. Please let us know if you’d like to buy a plinth when we call to take payment and we’ll add this cost to the total.

When is the Auction taking place?

The live online auction has now started and Lots start closing from 7.30pm on 19 September. The last Lot closes 9.09pm.

The time of the closing slot is noted on each sculpture.

How do I bid online?

You can bid on any of the owls before the live auction – just register for an account, and start bidding!

You’ll need to be logged in to an approved account to make a bid, or Buy it Now. As approving accounts can take a few days, please register before 19 September to ensure you’re approved in time for bids closing.

I have an account for the auction, but can’t bid or Buy it Now

If you’ve already signed up for an account, then you’ll need to make sure you’ve Activated your account. (You will have been sent an email with instructions)

And we also need to approve your account – which may take a few days to action, especially at weekends. Once you’ve been approved you’ll get an email confirmation.

If I buy online, how will my payment be made?

All buyers will be called directly after the winning bid has been made, in order to take payment via phone. You’ll also have the chance to discuss transport logistics at this point.

Please note – we cannot accept Amex payments via phone
