Oakwood School’s owl is the combination of three designs created by pupils and was chosen as it represents their school. The colours were inspired by the school uniform and the outdoor surroundings of their school. Their design includes happy children as well as oak leaves and acorns. They’ve named their owl Alona which is a Hebrew name for Oak meaning ‘mighty, resilient and wise’.
