‘Bitsy’, who is made of bits and pieces, represents techniques used by famous artists. Created by a group of children aged two to four, ‘Bitsy’ demonstrates that all children are, in fact, artists. The Pumpkin Patch Kindergarten children started their art project using paint after studying different artists and their work. The children questioned what makes an artist, with one of the children asking: ‘Are we an artist now?’.
