Mark is an award-winning artist and illustrator. Among other accolades and prizes, Mark was a finalist in the 2021 Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year. His owl design is inspired by the ever-watchful HAL9000 from ‘2001. A Space Odyssey’ and the idea of a weathered, robotic owl with 360-degree vision keeping a watchful eye on passers-by.
