‘Owlave’ is named after former World Chief Guide Olave Baden-Powell. She is a ‘Brown Owl’ decorated with unit fingerprint feathers and a neckerchief in Sussex colours with the badge on her back showing the seven areas in Girlguiding Sussex West. Her eyes represent the trefoils used by Girlguiding in the UK, and the 153 countries of the World Association, WAGGGS.
