The Big Hoot is raising vital funds for Chestnut Tree House.
This is a special year for the hospice as it celebrates it’s 21st anniversary! That’s 21 years of:
- Helping families create precious memories as well as lots of fun an laughter.
- Supporting parents, carers and siblings.
- Providing specialist end-of-life care
- Helping families to say goodbye, in the way that is right for them and ongoing bereavement support.
It’s thanks to people like you that Chestnut has been able to care for those who need it – and it is support from people like you that will mean that they keep doing their amazing work in the future.

There’s still time for you to bid on the owl which was voted the most popular on the trail app – A Sky to Remember.
This beautiful owl was inspired by the artist’s niece, Elsie, who died aged just ten days old at @chestnuttreehouse.
The design is an abstract interpretation of the aurora borealis, with constellations of stars on the wings. Since Elsie’s death, stars have become an important way for the family to remember her.

Aurora was the most popular owl in Arundel during this summer’s art trail, and we have some exciting news… she’s still available to bid on in the online auction!
Designed by artist Lucy Loves Design, Aurora is inspired by the amazing natural world at twilight when owls come out to play.

Rose and Rampion is one of 30 hoots still available to bid on in our online auction which closes this evening.
This stunning design by Kerry Caffyn features the rose window of Arundel Cathedral in the owl’s eyes and uses Sussex’s county flower, a rampion, on the back of the owl.
The most visited of all the owls on the trail, Rose and Rampion is available to bid on until 8:48pm this evening.
